Information we collect

Kitchen Fox collects personal information when you:

  • Submit an enquiry through any contact form on this website (kitchenfox.com.au).
  • Email or phone us about a kitchen, cabinetry or benchtop project.
  • Book a consultation, request a quote, or sign a contract.
  • Visit the website (analytics data — see the tracking-technologies section below).

The personal information we collect includes name, phone number, email address, suburb, project description, photos and floor plans you provide, budget band where supplied, and any other information you choose to share.

We do not collect sensitive information (health, financial, government identifier) unless required for a specific purpose with your express consent.

How we use your information

We use your personal information to:

  • Respond to your enquiry, prepare a written cost band, and book a consultation.
  • Produce design plans, fixed-price quotes and project documentation.
  • Coordinate trades, deliveries and on-site installation.
  • Issue invoices and process payments.
  • Send service-related communications (project updates, scheduling, post-install warranty information).
  • Send periodic marketing communications about Kitchen Fox services where you have consented to receive them. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by emailing the address below.

Tracking technologies and analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) to understand how visitors interact with our pages and to measure the effectiveness of our marketing. GA4 sets first-party cookies that record an anonymous client identifier, page paths, referrer information, approximate location (city level), device type, and the events listed in our public data schema (page views, form submissions, phone clicks, quote requests, and emergency calls). Where Kitchen Fox runs paid advertising for this site, we may also load remarketing pixels (Meta Pixel, Google Ads conversion tag, and/or LinkedIn Insight Tag) via GTM; these set their own cookies and are subject to the policies of the respective providers. Google’s handling of analytics data is described in Google’s Privacy Policy. To opt out of GA4 tracking on every site that uses it, install the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on. To opt out only on this site, decline analytics cookies in our cookie banner.

Data retention and deletion requests

Our GA4 property retains user-level and event-level analytics data for 14 months (Google’s default), after which it is automatically deleted. Aggregated, non-identifying reports may be retained longer in our internal dashboards. If you would like Kitchen Fox to delete personal data we hold about you — including any GA4 user identifier associated with your visit, your contact record in our CRM, and any related lead history — email contact@kitchenfox.com.au with the subject line “Data deletion request”. We will respond within 30 days, in accordance with our obligations under the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

Disclosure to third parties

We share personal information only as needed to deliver the service:

  • With our trades and suppliers (cabinet workshop, stone fabricators, electricians, plumbers, tilers) for project coordination.
  • With our scheduling and CRM provider (GoHighLevel) which stores contact records on your behalf.
  • With payment processors for invoicing.
  • With government agencies where required by law (council development applications, building rules consent, tax reporting).

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

Storage and security

Personal information is stored in secure Australian-hosted systems where practical, and in cloud services (CRM, email, document storage) with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We retain data only for as long as required to deliver the service and meet legal obligations.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of any inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion (subject to legal record-keeping obligations).
  • Make a complaint about our handling of your personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@kitchenfox.com.au.

If you are not satisfied with our response to a complaint, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.
