How to reach us
- Email — contact@kitchenfox.com.au — best for project briefs, photos, plans and floor sketches.
- Phone — — best for a 10-minute initial conversation. We’ll send a follow-up email with the consultation slot.
- Quote form — the in-page form below routes straight to our scheduling pipeline. Project type, suburb and brief description are the fields that matter; budget band is optional.
Showroom — by appointment
Our Adelaide showroom runs by appointment, not drop-in. The reasons are practical: every consultation runs about 60 minutes, the workshop schedule depends on us being on-site or at a measure, and the showroom is most useful when you’ve got our full attention rather than sharing it with three other walk-ins.
Book a slot that fits your week — evenings and Saturday mornings included — and we’ll confirm by email with the showroom address and what to bring (a rough floor sketch, photos of the existing kitchen, any inspiration images you’ve saved).
Showroom hours, by appointment:
- Monday to Friday — 9:00am to 7:00pm (extended evening slots available).
- Saturday — 10:00am to 2:00pm.
- Sunday — closed.
If a showroom visit isn’t practical, we run in-home consultations across metro Adelaide and the Hills. Same 60-minute slot, same finishes board, same written cost band the following week.
What to expect from a first consultation
The first consultation is a working meeting, not a sales pitch. Sixty minutes, on-site or in the showroom, with a Kitchen Fox designer.
- The brief. What you’re trying to do, what’s working in the existing kitchen, what isn’t, what’s non-negotiable. We’ll ask about your weekday cooking pattern, weekend entertaining pattern, kids and pets, storage gaps. The brief shapes everything that follows.
- The measure. If we’re on-site, we measure the existing space — every wall, opening, services run, ceiling height. If we’re in the showroom, you bring the rough sketch and we work from your numbers.
- The cost band. Before you leave, we tell you the band the project most likely lands in — small refresh ($15k to $25k), full mid-tier ($25k to $45k), or full custom ($45k to $80k+). The band shapes the scope of what we’ll quote in detail.
- The next step. A 3D plan and finishes board come back inside two weeks. The fixed-price written quote follows. You only pay a deposit once the quote is signed.
No deposit at consultation. No obligation to proceed. The consultation is free — we’d rather earn the job on the design than on a captive customer.
Service area
Greater Adelaide, the Adelaide Hills and the Fleurieu Peninsula — from Gawler in the north to Sellicks Beach in the south, and east to Mount Barker. Regional South Australia (Barossa, Mid North, Riverland, Yorke Peninsula, Kangaroo Island) is quoted on enquiry; some of our best builds have been outside the metro.
See the locations index for the suburb pages we publish dedicated cost and style guidance for.
Frequently asked questions
Is the consultation really free?
Yes. Sixty minutes, in-home or showroom, no deposit, no obligation. The cost band and the design plan are produced before any deposit is taken. We invoice for the design and detailed fixed-price quote only when you sign and want us to proceed.
How quickly can you start?
Most cabinetry-only jobs land in our workshop schedule within four to six weeks of signed quote. Full kitchen renovations typically book six to eight weeks out. Outdoor kitchens vary depending on council approval lead times. We tell you the realistic start date in the written quote — we don’t pretend the schedule is empty when it isn’t.
Do you take regional South Australia jobs?
Yes. Headline radius is 50 kilometres from the Adelaide CBD, but regional jobs (Barossa Valley, Riverland, Yorke Peninsula, Kangaroo Island, Fleurieu) are quoted on enquiry rather than auto-declined. The economics work for kitchen jobs in a way they don’t for trades that callout daily — one $40,000 cellar-door kitchen amortises the travel cost over a six-visit project.
Do you do outdoor kitchens with council approval?
Yes. Outdoor kitchens often need council approval where pergola, structural extension, plumbing or gas installation applies. We coordinate the development application, the building rules consent and the certifier sign-off as part of the project — you’re not running between council, certifier and trades yourself.
Can I see a sample of your work?
Yes — once we’ve launched the project portfolio. In the meantime the services pages carry the cost guidance, the design-style breakdown and the project-walkthrough articles.
